Analysis of three different teen movies with different audiences


Kidulthood  Kidulthood is a british drama film. The plot is an accurate representation of teenagers as the film touches severe topics such as teenage pregnancy, drugs, crime, violence and gangs. The film is is based in West London. The majority of the characters in the film generally behave in a violent and lawless manner. They are portrayed as being reckless and antisocial young people who commit crimes such as petty theft and serious violence. Kidulthood appeals mostly to teenagers who are in the middle of secondary school as they can relate to topics that are explored in the film, they can also learn from the choices made by the teenagers. The target audience is mainly 15 year old male & females other hand the film also appeals to adults as well as teenagers as they can watch the film to reflect on how they behaved when they went through the "kidulthood" period. Furthermore, the film appeals to parents as the film would strengthen their understanding of how teenagers behave as a result, this would improve their parenting. 


High School Musical               
High school musical is an american television film is based  at high school. The plot involves the two central characters Troy the popular captain of the basketball team and Gabriella a shy beautiful girl who excels in maths and science overcoming peer pressure's in school and performing in the schools most exciting production. High School musical is aimed at children as young as 7 to 16 years old as Its's an accurate representation of children in school as it involves relationship issues, confidence issues, Prom nights ,school productions, education and school groups. A majority of the characters are teenagers and are all different ethnicities and different sexes  so it appeals to all teenagers.       

Goal
Goal is a film about a skilled footballer who is from a poor background and manages to become a successful professional footballer. It appeals to mainly boys who are age 10 - 18 years old and are striving to become footballers in the future. This film would motivate them to carry on to pursue their dreams.even if they think their chances are slim. The film is a representation teenage boys with an ambition ! GoalPoster.jpg
