what happens at the start of a film?

what happens in the start of a film?

usually in a film we are shown the broadcasters of the films and the studios which they came from. big budget films would usually be from Walt Disney, Universal or dream works.

its followed by the producers of the film. this shows who provided the funding for the film and sponsorship. for example Walden media, marvel or rocket pictures.

Films then usually show the main cast of the film and if it is is a very famous actor or actress it makes their film more popular. in an animation this may not always be the case as they are only voices so they may be shown at the end and in a trilogy, by the second or third film they may show the characters names at the end. some times the name of the film is shown mainly in children films very rarely in adult films.

sound during the beginning of the film can display what theme the film is. for example if it is a comedy it may play music from a famous band which is up beat or if it is a horror they may give music to show intensity and thrill.

the film may show the film setting for example the region it is shot in, which country it is. it may also start with a monologue were the main character talks about him/herself or about the situation. teen films in particular may start with a more simpler approach and may take place in a school, or a bedroom.

Main characters were most likely to be found in the club partying, in celebrities houses robbing luxuries, out on the beach and expensive stores.  The only time the main characters were in their living room when they were being home tutored they were mostly in their bedroom or in the kitchen. This is an accurate representation of teenagers as they tend to stay in their bedroom isolated communicating with friends via their mobile phone rather than spending family time with parents in their living room.
